Secret Wonderland at 1 Man Sin 4 Alley feels like a quietly tucked-away dining spot in the heart of Bangkok’s Phaya Thai district. Though it’s categorized as a bar & grill, the experience leans heavily on relaxed dining paired with lush natural surroundings — a small oasis under the Bangkok Oasis hotel.

The setting is one of Secret Wonderland’s defining features. Guests often choose to sit outdoors by the garden and a softly misted stream, surrounded by greenery and subtle water features that create a gentle, cooling atmosphere. This leafy backdrop makes it a natural choice for those looking to escape the city's typical urban buzz, especially during daytime meals or for afternoon coffee breaks.

The menu offers a mix of Thai and Western dishes, with highlights like Crispy Pork, Spaghetti Aglio E Olio, and ซีซาร์สลัด (Caesar salad), alongside local favorites such as กะเพราปลาหมึก (stir-fried squid with holy basil) and ข้าวผัดพระอินทร์ (a signature fried rice dish). Portions are generally generous, making it a solid spot for lunch or an early dinner. A few standout plates that locals seem to appreciate include crispy noodles with gravy and a well-seasoned Rad Na. For dessert or a lighter moment, options like Blueberry Cheesecake and Butter Beer add to the homey, casual vibe.

The drink offerings complement the food well, with choices ranging from cappuccinos and Teddy Bear Coffee to fruit smoothies and some craftier items like Butter Beer, though prices can tend to run higher than average, especially for specialty coffees and cocktails.

Service is friendly and efficient, though outdoor seating sometimes means servers take a moment longer to reach tables. The staff are willing to accommodate special requests, and they respond promptly if issues arise. Parking convenience adds a practical plus — important for those driving in from other parts of the city.

Secret Wonderland suits visitors who want a meal or drink in a mostly quiet, garden-like setting without leaving central Bangkok. It works well for casual groups, dog owners who plan ahead, and anyone keen on a blend of Thai and international flavors paired with a touch of natural calm. Midday to early evening is when the atmosphere settles into its most comfortable rhythm, with dappled light filtering through trees and a gentle breeze.

Though it’s not a flashy nightlife hotspot or a dense urban café, this bar & grill’s appeal lies in its combination of natural elements, approachable food, and a low-key, outdoor-friendly layout delivered in an accessible corner of the city.

This really is a hidden little gem. The area is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. From the plant life to fish; from the flowing waterfalls and the gentle mist, it is very picturesque. This is a great place for a coffee break and lunch or a cold beer and a nice dinner. The food was well prepared and tasted good. I did not try the cigar room, maybe next time!

The place is located under The Bangkok Oasis hotel. Many parking lots and good ambience. Staff is helpful and friendly but hard to get attention if you are sitting outside/outdoor zone. I came with my dog so booked in advance for outdoor. Food taste is ok not that wow. But drinks and dessert are quite nice. Many spot to take photos and i love the littpe garden, the landscape is decorated and designed well.

The road to this Secret Wonderland is quite tricky. One has to turn left just before entering the express way. The dining experience was worth a visit. We went for lunch and sat outdoor next to their lovely garden and a foggy stream. We enjoyed nice shades and airy ambience. All the dishes were excellent. Thumbs up for the crispy Rad Na for a great taste and good portion. Fried Taro was also very yummy. The rest of the dishes were all tasty but the portion was rather small. The prices including cute 3D-bear handmade latte were in the pricey range.

Take one star out because I found metal string (used for cleaning the pot) in the dish. I told the staff right away, and they cooked new dish for me. It's beautiful restaurant with lot of trees. Food tasted nice, but the drink was way too expensive like over 150 TBH per glass. Really recommend crispy noodles with gravy and fried rice with crispy pork fat.

Discovering this restaurant may take a bit of effort, but it's absolutely worth it! A hidden gem that I've fallen in love with. The atmosphere is beautiful, with a great vibe and friendly people. Service is top-notch, and the food, coffee, and snacks are superb. The music adds to the ambiance perfectly. Sitting outside surrounded by nature, including Japanese koi fish, feels like a true getaway. Don't miss the delicious homemade ice cream, even if it's a bit pricey at 55 baht per scoop. Their butterfly noodle and wings are also delightful. If you're like me and enjoy a tranquil environment with a touch of magic, this place is a real secret wonderland.

It is truly hidden gem in town. It is part of hotel, but located in a nice decorated garden. Tables are available in the garden as well, which you can enjoy the sound of waterfall and carps in a pool. Great ambiance and very relaxing atmosphere in a good cooling weather day. Foods are great too. Parking are plenty, but how to get here is a bit tricky and quite small street. Follow Google maps carefully; otherwise, you might end up getting to expressway. :) Overall, it is a great choice to visit. Highly recommended.

If Alice grew up, got fabulous, and opened a cocktail lounge in Bangkok…this would be it! The place is absolutely magical—whimsical, surreal, and dripping with quirky charm. The cocktails are the real stars here: clever, creative, and delicious. The food is just fine, but honestly? You’re here for the atmosphere and the drinks. It’s a fantasy come to life.
